Hi there,
Just wondered what hobbies people have over here,I live between Yambol and Sredets, been here 9 years now and I am into RC flying, and LARGE scale garden railways. I am also getting into building a hydroponics set up as doing the garden is crazy at the moment, we also keep chickens.
hope to hear from some of you.
Richard.

hi. i do war-gaming with a friend from Draganovo. mainly ancients, but my preferred period is Napoleonic. I would like to get into map generated kriegspiel if anyone is interested. I also play electric guitar when i am not doing home improvement. I will be taking up some fishing as time allows, there are some reasonable spots around my nearest city .Valiko Tarnovo.

If you find a good hobby let me know because at the moment like you I am at a loss to know what to do for the Winter! I used to ski and play ice hockeybut age has caught up with me I'm afraid.

Hi all.
Talking about hobbies.
During my health recovery and the long winter nights last year, I decided to have a go at matchstick building projects. I found it so entertaining, relaxing and cheap, also it hardly needs any working space to get many hours of pleasure.
You can do an Ebay search for "match building" "matchmaking" and for ?10-?20 you can try something like the pictures below. You will get 2-4000 headless matches, pre-cut cards to stick them on and some glue. It is very easy to build and so rewarding. You can Google search or you'll find just a few Ebay sellers that post to Bulgaria, I found a couple and they have a quite good selection. Here are some of my creations in the link at the bottom of my post. The London Bus I gave as a present to the Medical Professor that gave me back my life.

Now I have moved on to wood ship building projects. This can be more involved with some small tools required and maybe buying some ship accessories to give that perfect and realistic model. It depends how resourceful you are or how detailed you want to make it. You can spend as little or as much as you want. But believe me with a couple of Zagorka pints and the ipod tuned to your favorites you'll have a wonderful time this winter.
If you need any ideas or information, just ask.

May I recommend the excellent Winter Sport of Mezze-eating & Rakiya-drinking?

It's not easy to become skilled but speed is definitely NOT needed and age is no barrier. Since "practice makes perfect", the other seasons can be used to build up stamina, strength - and resistance....
